We Build the Things a
Room Can’t Live Without

Built-in shelving and bookcases. Entertainment centers and media walls. Custom cabinetry for any room in the house. Handcrafted tables and chairs. One-of-a-kind pieces for residential and commercial spaces.

We work in a mix of materials — hardwoods, reclaimed lumber, salvaged pieces with history behind them. If the wood tells a story, even better. Some of our favorite projects have started with a client saying "I have this old wood from my grandfather's barn" and ended with something that will outlast all of us.

This work is available as a standalone project or as part of a larger remodel. If you're redoing a room and want the built-ins to match, we can do both.

Where It Came From

A PROJECT WORTH TALKING ABOUT

When Privateer Yacht Club rebuilt their clubhouse, they saved what they could from the original 1950s building — including some of the antique heart pine paneling, which they worked into the new space. From the beginning, the plan called for a large built-in bookcase, AV center, and trophy case to anchor the room. Life happened, budgets shifted, and the project got put on hold.

Eventually the club rallied — members raised the money, and we got the call.

The challenge was the wood. Antique heart pine isn't something you find easily at a lumber yard anymore. But timing has a way of working out. A building in downtown Chattanooga was being demolished, and its floor joists were antique heart pine. We milled those joists ourselves, then custom built the doors and trim to match the existing paneling in the clubhouse perfectly.

The wood that came out of a downtown building became the piece that completed a space the club had been waiting years for. That's the kind of project that reminds you why this work matters.
